I am a senior at Elon University, where I am pursuing a major in journalism and minors in leadership studies and political science. I am the executive director of Elon News Network and the managing editor of The Pendulum, ENN's weekly newspaper.
My role at ENN involves recruiting new members and leading the organization, assigning all content for the paper, working with and training reporters, photographers and designers -- to ensure balanced coverage for the Elon community. Recently, ENN received two Pacemaker awards from the Associated College Press, one for its newspaper and the other for its multiplatform coverage. I have also previously served as ENN's politics editor. ​

I have worked with the Pulitzer Center, where I reported in Denmark on its prison system. I also previously interned with INDY Week, an alternative weekly paper in Durham, and interned with the town of Elon, where I worked across departments and updated its website.
