I am an digital editor at the Virginian-Pilot. In this role I cover breaking news, create graphics for social media, manage newsletters and focus on audience engagement through writing SEO headlines, sending push alerts and managing our analytics.
I previously worked with the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting, where I reported in Denmark on its prison system. I also previously interned with INDY Week, an alternative weekly paper in Durham.
I graduated from Elon University, where I majored in journalism. At Elon I served as the executive director of Elon News Network, Elon's student-run media, and the managing editor of The Pendulum, ENN's weekly newspaper.
